Portland Type II Low Alkaline Cement
Used in structures such as reservoirs, MRT systems, elevated highways, dams, bridge foundations, harbors, coastal buildings, and mass concrete applications.
● Designed for general-purpose concrete, particularly where moderate sulfate resistance is required.
● It provides moderate sulfate resistance, lower heat of hydration than Type I, reduced drying shrinkage, lower expansion, and superior long-term durability.
