Portland Type II (MH) Cement
Used in structures such as reservoirs, MRT systems, elevated highways, dams, bridge foundations, harbors, coastal buildings, and mass concrete applications.
● Designed for general-purpose concrete requiring moderate sulfate resistance and moderate heat of hydration.
● It provides lower heat of hydration than Type II, offering lower expansion, improved durability, and—being a low-heat cement—significantly reduced drying shrinkage and slump loss.
● As a low-alkali cement, it effectively reduces the risk of alkali-aggregate reaction (AAR).
